I'd like to say no.....But deep down I often think that there might be something. I'm a bit of a doubting Thomas, and I don't believe in ghosts or the supernatural, but that's not to say there aren't any ghosts, it's just that I've never seen one...So until I do....

I was christened in church, and I got married in church, and there have been occasions throughout my life where I have visited a church. I attend Midnight Mass every Christmas with Mrs Fox, and it isn't just because she makes me.. There is something special inside a church, and it's just nice to sit quiet without a sound, and that's very rare these days....

So I don't really have any religious beliefs Carol, but I'm still waiting to be convinced.....

Hello John, welcome and thanks for your question....

I realised that I was getting Old and struggling doing things that I used to do without breaking a sweat, and although I've still got a good head of hair, like the leaves in Autumn it's changed colour from a sort of mousey brown to grey. I thought about calling myself 'Silver Fox' but it sounded a bit like a poser.......So grey it is.....And I admire the Fox. Such a beautiful animal with its rich golden brown hair with subtle flashes of white, and has been the both the hunter and hunted. I've always seen it as the underdog when being faced by a pack of hounds....And I always favour the underdog. I believe we all deserve our space in the world, and the Fox is no exception....

Me again....

Where would you rather live – a big house in the suburbs or a tiny apartment in a great location in the city?

Good evening Silver Tabby and thanks for your question.....

When I read your question ST the thought that immediately came into my mind was that I would choose four people who write on this forum....
Obviously I will not name them, but perhaps one day I just might meet them.....
My reason for this choice would be because any famous person can be looked up on Google, and most questions would find an answer there. But after reading posts and profiles of some of the regular members on over fifties you can sort of build up a picture of the person, and some of them seem to have personalities that I particularly like.....Of course, I could be wrong, but that just adds excitement to the project....

If I had to choose from a long list of famous people who I admire and are long since departed it would consist of:- Nikola Tessla, (not to be confused with TessA ) I would have loved to have been his apprentice, assisted and watched the great man at work.....

Albert Einstein...Not only for his Scientific achievements but his views on life in general. He has made some very interesting and humorous quotes of note.

Muhamed Ali, The greatest boxer of all time, who gave me hours of enjoyment and amazement while watching most of his fights on TV in the seventies.

Lance Armstrong, five times (disputed) winner of the Tour de France, to ask him why he took performance enhancing drugs when he probably would have won without them...

I live in hopes to have dinner with these living examples....

Ed Byrne....The comedian who appears on 'Mock the Week' I would love to walk with him in the mountains of Scotland. He belongs to a small group of people who are what's known as 'Munro Baggers'....He has climbed all the mountains (known as Munros) in Scotland over 3000 feet...Respect!

Mike Oldfield...Who composed 'Tubular Bells' my all time favourite album, I never get tired of listening to it.....

Liz McColgan...10,000 metre runner and record holder, I was gutted when I heard she got married...

Josephine Sadd....My first love and who I never see but still think about from time to time....I just wonder what she's doing now......

Sorry Silver Tabby.....That's turned into Foxes Dozen....

Evening Foxy.

I seem to remember you saying that you were good with your hands. What things have you made that you are most proud of?

Hi Floydy, nice to see you here..... And thanks for your question....

Ah yes, postman Floydy. One of the best jobs I have ever done. At the interview I had to convince the manager that I was up to the job even though I had suffered a Heart Attack four years earlier. Fortunately he believed me and gave me a chance after looking over that years running log..... He was himself a runner and a part time football referee....

They chucked me in at the deep end, with the biggest walk at the delivery office. 650 houses had to be visited each morning five days a week. It was so stressful to begin with. Sorting the post and bundling it up in order of delivery. I was known as the running postman, always in shorts all year and jogging my way round the eight mile route.

After six months I was taken off and I became the reserve postman, covering holidays and sick leave I did a different walk every week (Frightening stuff) but after a while it became interesting and easy. Finally I was given a permanent job as coverman. Providing cover for each postman so he could have his day off. Five days and five different walks, but the same five each week, so you got to know each walk intimately, and I could do each walk as fast as the regular postman....If not faster!..

So Floydy, it was out on the road each day, sometimes twice if someone hadn't turned up and I was available to help. Since I had been a courier and was used to delivering parcels, occasionally when I finished a walk I would take out the parcel van, especially at Christmas...I enjoyed the job so much I just wish I had joined Royal Mail sooner....

Only joking.....

Not much at all Lion Queen, despite liking my own company and the need for some space occasionally, I love socialising with friends and family and I accept and respect people for what and who they are. In fact, I probably annoy more people, than people who annoy me.....
