Re: What Are You A Stickler For?

I'm not a stickler for anything - except maybe truthfulness.
I detest liars!

(Not counting little white lies)

One more thing that irks - restaurants that serve hot food on cold plates, and meals that arrive to table already all on the plate - no serving dishes. Places that do either of those are crossed off my 'dining out' list.

Ooops - that's two things - sorry!

ST, You can have as many ‘sticklers’ as you like. I don’t think anyone is counting....unless they are a stickler for preciseness!!

Quite right Mort.

You and I must be sticklers for leading a peaceful, a slothful life.

I do also agree with Carol though, and I can't stand liars.

Actually that's mine too. I would rather be an hour early rather than a minute late.

And bad breath! A friend of my wife has a husband whose breath comes straight from Satan's bottom.

Unfortunately, I am occasionally obliged to socialise with them and I find myself trying desperately to avoid being close to him. The real difficulty arises due to him being one of those people who feel the need to stand directly face to face when he has something important to say.

I keep telling my wife to tell her friend that her husband has a severe problem, but she won't!

JBR, next time you socialise with them, take some Extra Strong Mints with you to offer around.
