I think there was a book about something similar. A young Indian woman married a tree rather than have an arranged marriage.

I think I vaguely remember something ages ago, about a nutty woman who 'fell in love' with the feel of metal. She was filmed lovingly rubbing metal hand rails/bannisters, and nearly having sex with part of the Eiffel Tower!!!

I remember this case, I think she had a fling with a few Coppers, then got Brassed Off.

I think there was a similar story 3 or 4 years ago where a woman was going to marry a tree. It could have been a Chestnut or Hazel Nut tree so it would be quite in order to say she was more than a little nutty.

Makes a change, I'm sure that in my youth I have slept with a couple of women who thought their role was to pretend to be a tree.
