Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)
well last night at approx 6pm the monsoon season started around our way. I had often watched those old movies of jungle scenes in the old Malaya or Singapore. There stood the Ma;am Saab gin and tonic in hand on the porch of her jungle home bleating " Oh darling the monsoons have started early this year"Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)
Ah the monsoon Gummy.Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)
gets a bit repetitive don't you think us ozzies would have slung that in the pond ages ago! - but I do share a pearl of joy with you having watched today the 1920/30 film "the Oracle" set somewhere in or off the coast of Ireland - I won't spoil it anymore but a Jem of a film - one of those to be treasured rather than repetitive and a joy to be sure to be sure - if you've seen it you will appreciate my thoughts - if not well worth a try!Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)
“Time is precious to a rich man, he worries about how much of it he has left, whereas time is all the poor man has yet he thinks nothing of it’s passing” (George B. Shaw)
