Bohemian Rhapsody

I took my friend to the cinema today for her birthday treat. We went to see Bohemian Rhapsody and oh my goodness, it was SUPERB. We were singing and dancing in our seats.

The guy who played Freddie was fabulous, his mannerisms, the way he carried himself was so like Freddie and very believable. The fella playing Brian May, well, I could swear it WAS Brian May.

This film is so well made and brought back some wonderful memories of enjoying the music of Queen.

When Freddie died my sister and I were heartbroken and we cried buckets, how i wished today my sister could have been with me at the cinema watching the movie, she would have loved it.

I wish Freddie was still here and we were still enjoying his magnificent talents. He truly was a superstar. The best of the best.

No one can ever come close to Freddie and Queen.

I will highly recommend this movie to anyone who will listen, it's a must see.

I'm going again

Re: Bohemian Rhapsody

I saw it last week and was blown away

Rami Malek was very convincing as Freddie and as for Gwilym Lee, well he definitely was Brians Doppleganger

I loved the film and the Wembley Scenes at the end were just FANTASTIC. If you weren't there at the time, you were definitely there watching the film

I have been longing to see it but the nearest cinema is in Wells and our road is closed.
I'll have to wait until it comes out on dvd.

I went to see it last week and absolutely loved it.

A wonderful, totally brilliant film. I'd go to see it again.

My friend noted there was no swearing in it either - a bit of a change from 'A star is born' which we went to see a few weeks ago and was full of bad language - Another great film but BR was better.

I'm not even a Queen fan but still recognise that they recorded some good stuff.

Re: Bohemian Rhapsody

Agree one hundred percent Lion Queen, we went to see the film last week with some friends and it was fantastic, the best film I've seen this year and we go most weeks to the cinema.
I don't think it would be as good on the telly though because the sound quality at the cinema is extraordinary good, especially the scene at Wembley, it was like being there.....Ten out of ten for 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and I look forward to the 'Elton John' movie, another one of my favourites.....

I couldn't honestly see 'Ed Sheeran' or 'Arctic Monkeys' having the same effect in years to come.....
