Country Baskets Trip.

What a fantastic day out! Country Baskets is housed in an old mill premises - and should really be called 'Aladdin's cave' ! One thing to remember though - the prices on the shelves are minus VAT - that is added when you reach the check-out.

We were too late for the sausage sandwiches - had turkey, cranberry and pigs in blankets in a panini instead - delicious!

Here is just a small selection from their Christmas stuff:-

Ribbons galore!!

You and Grace would love it, Julie.

Apart from craft stuff and the Christmas things, they have shelves of candles, unusual vases, dishes, home decor stuff. Lovely old fashioned children's games such as 'Old Maid', 'Happy Families', 'Snap', metal puzzles - the sort of things my brother and I found in our Christmas stockings when we were children.

You could spend all day there and still not see everything.

Did you see what I bought - in 'Today's little treasures'

Just Googled! There's one in Avonmouth, Bristol. Now to convince daughter she needs to take me there

Do you have to have a trade card Tabs?
