K-Tel Vinyl Records:Hits Of The Past.

Who remembers the K-Tel records and that K-Tel record selector? Brings back memories. I collect those old records.Started buying them in the early 1980s and just added to them over the years.I bought spare copies too.

I added a few photos of some of collection.

Awful musak in my opinion and the KTel record selector was guaranteed to damage your records. Not my cup of tea at all.

Embassy Records in the UK was similar - cheap copies of real hits.

Most of my records are locally made albums. After K-Tel set the trend a lot of recording companies got in on the act to make their own,of course using original hits and artists.
