After a marriage lasting for 53 years, my wife and I very rarely utter those 3 little words anymore. We don't need to..we both know that those words aren't necessary..we both feel the same way as we did when we first met way back in the 50s. When we are surrounded by our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, there is so much love between us and our family we only have to look across the room at eachother to realise that nothing has changed between us..we have both grown just a little older!Re: Saying I love you

As someone who lost the love of her life over 5 years ago, we told each other every day that we loved each other. We already knew that, but to have the words said out loud was very important as it kept that special bond between us and, just to hear the words, was very special and saying them showed that we didn't take each other for granted.Re: Saying I love you
