It helps to wipe the mirror a bit first to see the loved one's face clearer

Re: Saying I love you

I usually say it when I am sarcastic to someone ...
or annoyed with them ... First a big smile then
I will say something on the lines of ...

Have I told you how much I love you lately ....

As for my husband ... I been married for over 33 years ...
If he doesn't know I love him by now .. I guess he will never know ...
No I do not say it .. I am not an affectionate type ...

Re: Saying I love you

After a marriage lasting for 53 years, my wife and I very rarely utter those 3 little words anymore. We don't need to..we both know that those words aren't necessary..we both feel the same way as we did when we first met way back in the 50s. When we are surrounded by our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, there is so much love between us and our family we only have to look across the room at eachother to realise that nothing has changed between us..we have both grown just a little older!

Hummn, there seems a certain resonance with Mr Ploppy.

Re: Saying I love you

As someone who lost the love of her life over 5 years ago, we told each other every day that we loved each other. We already knew that, but to have the words said out loud was very important as it kept that special bond between us and, just to hear the words, was very special and saying them showed that we didn't take each other for granted.

If you've still got a spouse/partner, tell them you love them regularly, and mean it.

Re: Saying I love you

Mollie I took your advice .. I called my husband on his mobile phone ...
Told him I love him and he hung up on me ...
He was in bed sleeping ...While I was in the basement on the computer .
I don't understand what his problem was ....

Spitfire ...

Since Mr Ploppy and I are so much alike ..
we don't love each other .. because we are not opposite ...
so we are not attracted to each other
We are too much alike ....

On the other hand .. I do love you .. You make me
burning hot .. I am on fire when I see you ...
but when you come on... your spit put out my fire ..
