Talk about desperation ! Oh Twinks, grasping at straws is so ..... demeaning.

When I said child I meant child - but OK, a knife-wielding 13yo,
one would still be legally and morally obliged to save the "child" not the bloody dog !

And when you came across this dire, life-threatening emergency situation, of course you would know the "child's" history - perhaps you could even convene a court to help with the decision whilst the human being sinks ................. ?

But gee, then you'd lose the dog anyway.

Well I would throw it a lifebelt, but I don't think there is any law that says I must put my own life at risk.

Well if a dog and a child were drowning, I imagine it wouldn't be very safe for an adult.
Now, as Meg suggested, can we get back to the original topic?

Indeed also has anyone ever faced this farcical situation ? It's a perennial question used to put down dog owners.

I contend that we are well and truly within the ambit of
"Babies and Dogs".
But not to worry. I shall post no more in this thread.
It sure has been a learning experience.
The very thought of favouring a dog over the life of a child astounds me.
Some I expected. Others I did not.

I imagine one's fellow prisoners would make their feelings known during a very long and justified jail term.
Your opinion and your view ...youve had mine I wouldnt change it.

Dog haters shouldnt have asked the question if they didnt want an honest answer and there it is bashing someone for giveing an honest answer,,
I WONT be bullied into giing the PC answer just as it seems you wont be purseuded into resonable exchanges of views .
So standoff..

I dont really give a toss.
