Re: Boris refuses to appear outside with the PM of Luxembourg

We are being forced against our will, we are hostages, the EU should do the right thing. A majority wish to leave.

It's hardly suprising the the tax avoidance capital of the EU would feel annoyed with the UK for screwing up their lucrative little schemes. A country of some 600,000 pop benefits to the tune of 1.8 billion EU budgetary spending which amounts to 5% of their national income. Their net contribution amounts to 0.3 billion giving them a surplus of 2,500 Euros. I should think that a fair chunk of that is contributed by the UK. Add to that, quite a number of the population are employed by the EU machine and you don't need to be Brain of Britain to figure out why they are so bitter.

Re: Boris refuses to appear outside with the PM of Luxembourg

“rent-a-mob right in front of the lecturns[sic]” “allowing the rent-a-gobs to be standing where they were” “organized band of hecklers” “ “Did you notice that the banners were in engish” “Rent a crowd failure. Probably part of Corbyn's mob or Momentum on a day trip.” “a mob of British remainers” “a minority group who think the only way to be heard is to shout louder than anybody else” “Couldnt they have been flown over specially?” “What Brits are these ?”
You sad Brexit fans think that you are so proud of Britain and its values. Yet you ignore the plight of 1.3 million Britons and are disdainful of their plight. You do not demonstrate the values you claim to hold dear for your own countrymen/women. You question their motives and their right to have the concerns heard. They are British - do you not care?
These 1.3m are ignored by the government – they do not count. They are left with massive uncertainty and in many cases distress and trauma. A no deal Brexit would be catastrophic for many in this group. Not a bump in the road, not a few drugs less or a couple of gaps on supermarket shelves. Much worse - work destroying, health destroying, savings destroying. No wonder they are distressed and want to make a point to a fat ignorant self-serving turd of a PM.
The banners were in English because these people are British. Duh. These people wanted to be heard because right now no-one is listening to them. Leaving the UK does not make them not British. They are your fellow country people. Shame on you.
“Like other's I also see it as set up”. You can convince yourself that it was a set up and this was not genuinely British people with genuine and very major concerns. Same as you can convince yourself that Johnson is doing a great job. You are wrong on both counts but, hey, keep yourselves happy and tell each other your false view of the world. But do not claim to be proudly British because you demonstrate none of the British values that we, you, should hold dear.

Re: Boris refuses to appear outside with the PM of Luxembourg

It seems that the Luxembourg PM had the stage to himself at this press conference..
Does anyone have a clue what he said?
I haven't seen much coverage of it.
Looks like Boris eclipsed him

Do we really have a Brexit fan decrying tax avoidance? Waken up!

The EU has done the best they can. In international law it is laid down that you leave on november 1. So rest asured, you're out by that date.
Only if you undertake some action that is avoided. So what on earth do you want? Sit back and out you go. What you probably can hear are your teeth clattering from fear!
