Will Anyone be Watching the Perseids Tonight?

http://iya2009.com/perseid-meteor-sh...n-tuesday.html

I forgot last night so I am hoping that there will be clear skies tonight and that I stay awake long enough

Glad you reminded me. I meant to look last night but forgot.
I've never seen a shooting star.

Funnily enough I find them a bit spooky, but I still like watching them.

I think it will be too cloudy tonight, unfortunately.
They will still be around, though maybe not quite as abundant, for a few more days/nights yet

It's still really cloudy here, but "they" say the skies will clear later - so OH and I are going out to see if we can see anything before we go to bed.

Currently being 1/2 way up an Italian hillside in pitch blackness I will try to keep an eye out . . . if my eyes manage to stay open that is!

That should be perfect viewing away from the City light pollution, Yola. Hope you get to see them!

Re: Will Anyone be Watching the Perseids Tonight?

There was a thick blanket of cloud here last night so a complete no go.

Maybe if it is clearer tonight I might catcha glimpse.
