Alas, the recycling for paper and plastic is only on Mondays and Fridays so yes, it was a wasted journey...That's why it was so irritating.

I do this quite often. I usually do my food shopping on a specific day just to give the week a focal point, so I know where I am

You know You're retired when You wake up in the morning and think 'What shall I do Today'..Go gallivanting around Town and treat Myself to some goodies (as I did this Morn')...Go for a walk in the woods and kick up the leaves...visit a Friend/Relative for a blether...Rake up leaves in the garden..Or curl up on the Sofa with My latest murder mystery from the library (which I'm about to do now)...Och,life gets tedious don't it? ;~)

At work it was always "Too much to do and not enough time to do it". Now it's "Too much time and not enough to do with it"
