I am old. But some people still say “act you age”. As for the broken heart, that has happened to me very recently. Yes it was a grandmother that I became friends with. But tomorrow maybe my heart could be mended.
This sounds like a puzzle, and it is.

we all tend to loose close relatives and close friends as we get older,one of the penalties we have to live with.

I've got the years without a doubt but I think nobody sees me as being old. I still have to look after or do things for people younger and older than me as I still have fitness of mind and body.

Their problems take over the thoughts rather than contemplating what age means to me. Maybe it's all this that gives the impression of me being younger. I tell people I'm old (in years anyway) but they just won't have it.

Retirement might be good but I don't think it will happen for me.
