Perhaps we have this all wrong?

We tend to think these stupid complaints come from snowflakes but what if they come from racists? If there's one sure way of stirring up racism, it's doing what they do.

Perhaps the ex-councilor just wanted to get his face in the DM when he muttered something about connotations carry a racist undertone when it was suggested that to increased tourism new welcoming signs should be erected, not doing away with the little white town label but elaborating upon it:
