Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Rob's girlfriend hoping to come to see us tomorrow. Wonder if she'll be stopped on the border! Granddaughter's 19th birthday Saturday and we're hoping to have lunch at the pub in the village on Sunday, fingers crossed. Think I shall have an expedition to the shops tomorrow morning.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Well I went over the border to shop at Morrisons in Leominster and didn't get stopped! Went very early as I'd had a bad night due to pain in my foot. Up stuffing paracetamol down at 2 am. Back home by 10 am - and that included delivering some bits to a friend. Washing on the line and the sun coming out so hoping my visitor does arrive eventually. Bought a couple of Indian ready meals for supper, so just an apple and cheese for lunch I think.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Amazing drying day. One lot of washing already in the airing cupboard! Have my youngest grandson with me today, so have been busy making a big casserole of mince, onions and carrots and baked potatoes for our lunch. He's now glued to my i-pad so dead easy to entertain.

Friend rang me yesterday to suggest a meal out before the lockdown - expect everyone else is having the same thoughts.
