Covid-19: Chineses city of Qingdao to test nine million for coronavirus in five days

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-54504785

The mass testing comes after a dozen cases were found linked back to a hospital treating coronavirus patients arriving from overseas.

In a statement posted to Chinese social media site Weibo, Qingdao's Municipal Health Commission said six new cases and six asymptomatic cases had been discovered.

The Chinese authorities now have a strategy of mass testing even when a new coronavirus cluster appears to be relatively minor, correspondents said.

In May, China tested the entire city of Wuhan - home to 11 million people and the epicentre of the global pandemic.

The country has largely brought the virus under control. Daily coronavirus infections have fallen drastically and for the most part the country appears to have recovered from the worst of the virus.

That's in stark contrast to other parts of the world where there are still high case numbers and lockdown restrictions of varying severity.

China currently has 85,578 virus cases and the death toll stands at 4,634.
That's the way to do it .....

I would imagine that just about everybody in Wuhan has had the disease, so there are very few to pass it on now Omah.

And those data came from where? The Chinese social media site Weibo. I suggest this is fake news especially after all the goings on at the being of this year with the Chinese covering everything up.

The way to do it, is NOT to allow the virus to escape and then circulate world wide in the first place

Other countries let it circulate worldwide - then incompetent governments let it rampage through their populations:

UK (Bad)

Cases 603,716
Deaths 42,825

USA (Appalling)

Cases 7,991,998
Deaths 219,695

In fact, I believe that you were the first to post the question on the forum:

20-01-2020, 09:10 PM#1
Chinese Coronavirus
Could the virus spreading over China be assisted in spreading by the high speed trains and air travel??
Sadly, all the politicians in all the countries of the world failed to consider your query and let millions of people transmit the virus willy-nilly for weeks on end .....
