Shovelers.

Spent a few hours yesterday at the lake trying to get some images of a pair of Shovelers. A sunny but cold and windy day found them either fast asleep or very active, so trying to get a decent image with my slow and limited camera through the scope proved challenging.

Wonderful assortment of what is on the water for you. I hope to get over to my pond soon, but heavy thunderstorms are predicted for a week. I don't mind the storms but wonder about the dirt road back to the pond. I can't walk at all so such things do bother me.

From the title I expected seeing two or three blokes digging a hole in the road, but I was pleasantly surprised to find an assortment of wildfowl. You complain about your camera Nom, but I'd be well pleased if I could get the same results as you.
The traffic calming one is brilliant.
