Thousands of Chinese leave and return from China on a daily basis,
so they must be reasonably happy there??

I suppose the fact that they would all have been murdered by the
commies has nothing to do with it ??
The commies were the rebels in those days and the nationalists
were the de facto government of the day ! Unfortunately they
were defeated and what we see now is the result !!
Although the Chinese today seem happy, it was not always the
case, as when chairman Mao was in charge he ran a very strict
and repressive regime which bears little resemblance to the
present incumbent ? Although they do seem to be a little obsessed
with reclaiming what they perceive as theirs??

As has been said many times, the police and certainly the courts are so keen on being seen to be completely unbiased, they avoid doing their job for fear of accusations of bias!
As long as there are more good men than bad men, we should be allowed to sort things out ourselves!
