Yes, his extended family weren't practising social distancing on my broccoli and kale yesterday!
I sent them on a field trip!

They look like cabbage white butterfly caterpillars to me.

I have found out ( an old countryman told me ) that this is not a cabbage white but the caterpillar Of the Mullein Moth .

However all have gone this afternoon and I think the peasant has eaten them .

He was in the garden this afternoon and has also disgraced himself by digging up the sweet peas. ( I have forgotten to put out any bird food for two afternoons In a row )

Following the first wave of mullein moth Caterpillars the poor Mullein has had barely time to recover itself when another lot Has appeared .
This plant which grows huge of left alone is having a hard time ;(

Ha Ha I blame the iPad .

I wish something would eat them as I can’t kill anything they are muching on and they are big . The Mullein moth must be quite sizeable .
