Smells You Dislike?

We often talk about the smells we love but not so much about the smells we really dislike.

I will kick it off with.... burnt toast and the horrible smell that lingers after.

Which smells do you really dislike?

Mrs mart was a home hairdresser and I grew to dislike the smell of perm lotion.

mart, The smell of ammonia is lovely! It clears your nose!

Maybe it does clear the nose but it smells 'orrible while it's doing it.

It used to be funny when Mrs mart and I were wandering around the town. She'd want to go near to the doors of hairdressers because she liked the smell but I'd steer clear.

I was drawn to the door of the specialist coffee bean shop because I loved the smell coming from the place. She really hated it so it would be her turn to steer clear.

The smell of liver cooking.
I sometimes buy some for my old dog for a treat, she has always loved it, but the smell of it cooking makes me feel quite queazy.
I have to have the back door open, and all the windows too.
Revolting stuff.

Meg, Really? I love the smell of roast chicken.

I didn’t like the smell of chicken’s hearts that my mother cooked in water for the poodle l had when l lived at home.
It would make me heave!
