Yes to that, my next door neighbour, haven't spoken to him for years now, because he said some very hurtful things to me & my Daughter & has never said he was sorry for saying them. He still thinks he was in the right, he wasn't. I ignore him & his wife, because she must have known what he said to us.

Re: Saying Sorry.

I sometimes say sorry (if I am) but more often will just do something that demonstrates that I am. Some sort of kindness to whoever I have upset. I can usually think of something.

I have no problem saying sorry if/when I am in the wrong.

Re: Saying Sorry.

Some are too full of themselves of their own importance to admit they made a mistake.
By saying sorry shows they are more of a person taught to behave in the correct manner

Re: Saying Sorry.

Funny,how I should start this thread,this morning.

Then blow me if I didn’t meet a friend of mine in our neighbourhood, who I fell out with, must have been 8 yrs ago...

I commented on her garden and how pretty it looked...then we both poured our hearts out to each other....she said it made her day that I spoke to her....I said I was sorry that it had taken so long.....after that,we just talked and caught up on everything.

I may have my faults but being wrong isn't one of them.

Me too, Tabby.
I would always apologise if I was in the wrong, but blowed if I had done nothing.

Re: Saying Sorry.

I will always apologize if I make a mistake or hurt somebody, but not if it is just a difference of opinion.

We all have our own opinions, that make us the people we are, so why should anybody apologize for what they believe is right?

I know people who have totally different ideas to me, but we still remain friends. The only time things get unpleasant is when people try to change other's opinions to their own!
