Some choices do not fit the format of a referendum. For instance: brexit, or not. Look what it brought you.

Wasn't there some opposition from the SNP about not devolving powers that previously lay with the EU, but westminster wants to keep them in their own hands? The priority for the UK is the UK?

Not so, according to the British papers! BAD BOYS! You will have to be shown the error of your way. There is no way out of it. You will pay it, whether you like it or not. That is the EU way. You chose the Dutch way of leaving it all up to Rutte and his government, so it is either pay up or go under.
This is just the start of it. Get used to being tipped upside down and your pockets emptied out, We've had over 40 years of it. Your turn now.
On the bright side, the UK has left. Imagine how much more the richer EU members would have been paying if they not only had to save spain, italy and greece, but the UK as well!

You can't get more democratic than having a referendum - the peoples choice is always the right one in a true democracy.

Giving the people a choice is how we reject socialism

Notice in the photograph there is no british representation? Even though you are affected by the decisions, like clearly stated in article 50 and the WA.
The result is you will probably get a donation from that fund, since you are similarly poor as italy and spain.

Only half of them are elected and we aren't in the EU any way.

The meeting is about mutualising debt ... i noticed Rutte isn't in that picture either. Probably because everyone hates him

So much for socialism you won't help poor people in Italy .. thats totally against the principles of the EU Project. Time to raid your pensions comrade and help a fellow member state. You might not have a choice soon, you know how it goes with Brussels

1. Decisions made during the transition period are fully applicable on the UK. Ask boris, he read the agreement, one may assume.

2. In the netherlands pension funds are totally independent from the state. I suppose the same goes for the UK?
