Christine has sadly died now but I was a privileged woman to have the pleasure of caring for such a remarkable, funny, beautiful woman.
We had such fun together and we'd sing our heads off. It was never like going to work, it was like going to visit a dear friend. We grew to love each other and became great friends.

There were some very sad days when she didn't recognise her surroundings but I was always able to reassure her then she would forget she had been upset.

Dementia is a very cruel disease.

Rest in Peace my beautiful friend Christine.
Awwwwww god love her.
That's a beautiful post LQ. Really moving. Thanks for sharing x

Re: Elizabeth Is Missing

I watched it yesterday but l was bit confused with the flashbacks as to what it was all about?
Glenda Jackson was superb and depicted a type of elderly person very well with some of her facial expressions and the way she walked.
Whether or not she was acting or it was a bit of herself.. l don’t know?

I hope, l worded it all ok as l don’t want to offend anyone as not all elderly people are the same.

Re: Elizabeth Is Missing

Art I too felt it was a bit disjointed because of the flashbacks. It took me a while to work out what was going on. I think they were trying to reflect the chaos of her mind.

Re: Elizabeth Is Missing

I missed this drama.
Was it a one off complete episode, or is it an ongoing weekly drama?

If it is ongoing, what day and time please?
