I think you've hit on the answer there, PD.

Scotland faces a similar situation to us with our membership of the EU.

Scotland has 5 million people against the UK's 60+ million.

Just as the UK has 60 million people against the EU's over 500 million.

So in the UK, they have a minority of voting power, just as we in the EU have a minority of voting power.

Fine. But what I don't understand is how the SNP reckon they'll have a greater influence in the EU than in the UK!
It would be a lot less, of course.

Actually, after Scottish independence the territorial waters would be divided too, although Scotland wouldn't get all of the oil and rather less of the gas.

They would get access to the territorial waters like everyone else but the oil, gas and fish would belong to the UK. As far as I'm aware it is part of the Crown Estate.

So why do she want prevent us leaving the EU for the same reasons? As if we didn't know. Its of of he finest examples of hypocrisy you'll ever see.
If labour win she also wants an extra four million for the Scottish health Service which the SNP have screwed up, to guarantee their support for Corbyn . Another fine example, this time of blackmail.

I think most of the oil was sold off years ago when Harrold Wilson was PM

Re: What will she do if???

Unless the SNP are putting forward candidates in all UK constituencies, it would be physically impossible for her to become PM(unless there was a significant trend towards voting in a shed lead of non-affiliated independents)
