I don't think she ever wanted to be first lady she already had a full and happy life from what I can see. She stood by her husband though and let's face it she always looked immaculate....I expect now she is happy to be out of the limelight...
I liked her she had no pretence about her.
ME too , seemed to had her values right vis a vie the welfare of her son .
