Tachyon, good post.While invoking the 25th Amendment was expected by the far right, the most credence will those statements and recommendations by Republican House and Senate members like Kinzinger.
The questions now being debated by Congress are one, whether or not this can be accomplished within the next twelve days, and two whether or not any action will further incite further division.
Back to add, removing a sitting president is harder than it looks. It would take the vice president, a majority of the sitting Cabinet members, and a two-thirds majority from the House and Senate.
We are all watching.
