There are lots of reasons this country - and others - are in such a financial mess. Capitalism by it's very nature breeds rather cruel bosses - bosses that can be heartless, greedy and calculating. Immigration has also played a massive part in keeping wages down (a link to the first point here). On top of that import / export tariffs that allow the market place to be saturated with cheap foreign goods has resulted in our manufacturing base being destroyed. Now this country no longer generates enough wealth to pay for it's top heavy non-productive management, welfare, and all the rest.The above could be sorted by this country caring for it's own - as in having a protective nationalistic approach, but we all know that isn't going to happen any time soon.
The US is in as bad a situation as we are - if not a lot worse!

This simplistic arguments of Party politics are mindless and futile. Someone has called me a Communist because I deplore the stupidity of voting for those we know are ripping us off and gloating at our gullibility. I'm not a Communist and have never been a member of any Political party until last year when I joined WEP as a founder member, because the women who started the party have a grasp of what needs to be done and want to get rid of the old boys clubs that have been running this country into the ground for the past fifty odd years.Party politics has been the murderer of independent good sense here and in America and only crooks and parasites have benefitted from it.
