Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning All, well that's me up the creek again, stood up last night and my leg collapsed under me, only just saved myself from going down by grabbing the mantlepiece. Been in pain all night, worse if I try to walk, heaven knows what's wrong. My Xrays a few weeks ago were clear from arthritis just showed a bit of wear n tear in my lower back. So I'm right back where I was a few weeks ago. Scared to move, in pain if I do, and feeling sorry for myself. No swimming either, That actually helps but I can't climb out of the pool.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning All, it is May, Just back from the Pool actually, I waited until Himself could come with me. Swimming helped a lot over the past few weeks and it was getting better. I felt great as soon as I got in the water and did my usual 50 lengths no problem, albeit a wee bit slower than usual...just in case. Dunc made me try to get up the ladder with himself behind me and one of the Lifeguards at the top, it went ok and they said just to let them know when I want out of the pool each time and they will be ready to help. I was walking ok on the way back to the car just a bit slower than normal, as I say the swimming really helps, along with the Naproxen the Doctor gave me.
Have to stop climbing up onto the Clydes backs though for a while, just too hard to do at the moment.

Weather has calmed down a bit thank goodness, and it's dry. Just playing a slow catch up on chores this afternoon.
