Re: Tom Petty.

I never knew too much about Petty until someone gave me a tape (that's going back a bit) of him and I thought he was great. Strangely, never bought any of his music but I love his songs.

Thanks LF, I might cast that vid to the TV later when Mrs LD is having her hair done.

Re: Tom Petty.

Its a cracking concert LD and only 45 minutes long .
I had never heard one on there, which was I Love A Girl on LSD.
Short preview on that one.

Re: Tom Petty.

Tom Petty was amazing. I can't see your videos on here for some reason, but I do play his music fairly often.
Such a sad loss, and almost certainly unnecessary, if he'd gone to the doc.

Re: Tom Petty.

Thanks Longfellow. I really enjoyed that, some classics there. My favourite being 'Learning to Fly' which I suppose is the obvious one. I do like watching relaxed gigs as opposed to the more structured stuff that the amateurs tend to put out.

Re: Tom Petty.

Tom Petty was a great artist, one of those true contemporary rock 'n' rollers who lived solely for the music. I was very sad when he passed away.
