The Rose ~ Frankie Miller


Thank you longfellow for putting Bette Midler's version of The Rose on, loved the film in which the part taken by Bette Midler is supposed to be Janis Joplin, the song always makes me cry.
And here is Frankie Miller's rendition of the same song, which also brings tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat........great lyrics written by Amanda McBroom.

No matter who plays these songs as long as they treat them with respect I have always got time to sit and listen.
Hans Zimmer is such a perfectionist.
Most of his music leaves me breathless.

There was a time when this lady peaked and could sing any song. She has a beautiful and powerful voice.
