Peter Green is supposed to have been inspired by the first one.I think you can hear that.

God those brought back some memories especially sleep walk - teen days and teen clubs! but I still prefer albatross - a bit more polished!

Hearing 'Stranger On The Shore' made me buy a clarinet and then seek out other tunes to play. I first heard Sidney Bechet's Petite Fleur played by Monty Sunshine and bought the record.

There are some good versions to be found on Youtube. On the back of Petite Fleur was a number called Wild Cat Blues.

I learned to play both tunes by listening to the record over and over.
