Living hand to mouth? Get a second job or LIVE hand to mouth.

Live in areas of mass unemployment? MOVE. In any case there's ALWAYS some way to make a few quid - and that's without resorting to things naughty.

The rich get richer? It's the well off that pay for so much that is reallocated to those who don't or won't put themselves out.
There is truth in what you say Todgy, but l do believe that this
country has made a series of big mistakes in the last 50yrs due
to successive government policies which resulted in the decline of
manufacturing and thus no oportunities for non academic youth!
And then joining the EU with the resulting dependence on EU for
supplies and expertise and the simultaneous decline of our large
( at that time! ) fishing industry and the resulting decay of our
coastal communities?
All these events add up to less opportunity for our youth on a large
scale!
Then we had the illusion of university education for all, which has
resulted in an excess of academic orientated job seekers with no
prospects in their chosen fields!
We now face the task of readjusting our economy back to what it
once was in order to provide opportunity for all?

Sorry for the rant Todgy but l think you probably agree with most of
what lve said?

Good luck with the bonds Bread, and property is good long term
as well, so you should be ok?
But as you say the system is not performing in a fair manner as it
is constituted at the moment is it?

How can you move without financial aid?
And. Were can you find rented property that does not cost the earth for families
Many rich people have lived off the backs of poorly paid workers for years, and it is time they paid something back.

I dont envy the youngsters at the wrong end of society these days!

Donkeyman!
Some of them will drag themselves out of the mire and
and become successful.

And another thing, many Multi Millionaires can not read and write very well and had very little schooling.
They have natural intelligence.

Financial aid? WHAT FINANCIAL AID IS NEEDED! Do what my parents did. Get a couple of family and friends with a couple of vans and a lorry and DO IT THEMSELVES.

Where to find rented property that doesn't "cost the earth"? Are you being serious, I mean really? Just surf the web and although it may not be somewhere you don't fancy then so what?

Living off the back of these oh so hard treated poorly paid worker diddumses? If people with a few Bob didn't put their gelt at risk by creating employment where would those workers even have a job and in any case every risk must have an element of positive ROCE.

Some people aren't as clever as you Sir.

And why don't these rich fat employers pay them to move?

Re: Help for Self Employed

Ok so to avoid living hand to mouth, get a second job.
Maybe build up a bit of a buffer? Only to find that you must use your buffer before getting any benefits.
Or spend everything that comes in, get the benefit of all that spending and immediately qualify for assistance.

Punish the frugal and reward the spendthrift.

In many cases relocation costs are paid, either as a one off grant or a loan written off by a fixed amount over time, usually 24 months with 1/24 wo each month. Otherwise most high street banks will advance a couple of thou to a customer, even one without a perfect record, for a move to a real job and a sensible and credible plan to do the move and repay the loan.

A lot of folk don't know the cost of recruitment, even when there are many replies to an advertisement and it's a low skill job - at least when competent HR people are involved in medium sized businesses.

Punish the frugal and reward the spendthrift.
Not punish, just target tax payers money to those that have used or otherwise liquidated any assets that they had built up.
