How Many Have You Got?

According to the radio this morning the average Australian household has eight devices connected to the internet.

How many have you got? I did a quick calculation and this is my list:

Mobile Phone
Three TVs
Two tablets
Three laptops (though only two in use normally)
Desktop computer
Two media streaming devices
Three telephones (VOIP)
NAS
Two PVRS
Printer

That makes about 19 devices in my single household so it is probably right. You can imagine a family with kids adding things like game machines and individual laptops and tablets.

I didn't count things like modems, routers and switches (ie I have four swtches)

How about your household?

There are other less frequently used computers here too tho.

Good grief, Bruce, that is quite a list.

My list:-

1 x elderly desk top computer.

1 x 2yr old wireless laptop.

1 x Cell phone that would receive email if I bothered to set it up.

1 x printer - connected to desktop PC.

2 laptops and my kindle occasionally.

one of the laptops is rarely used though so really at any time just the one laptop.
