I agree, take your time, don't rush in, and don't be too quick to send money or gifts. It wasn't me who spent a lot of time organising help for this person it was a lady in Scotland who I have subsequently come to like a lot.

I always think it's a good sign if the person who starts a thread always acknowledges anyone else who posts, there's a few on Dodsey who always do and I like that. It is easier on there because of the 'multi-quote' facilty which isn't on here just yet.

Oh thank you Mags, I thought the LHM would have done it the same as Dogsey (Where it says 'multiquote' in good old fashioned words )I must admit I never clicked on that icon before.

Just better warn you one of my pet subjects is standardising of web sites, why do people use fonts you can hardley read on their home pages, why is the log in and log out in different places (On motorhone FUN the log in is at the top but the log out is right at the bottom, WHY?)

OK I won't go on I'm sure you've come across this type of 'sloppines' in web page design

Oh and I have to go now, sorry, time for my bi-annual bath

I am only just getting used to this quote thing how do you do just a part of what the coversation that you want to quote from I just wanted to put the second half of Losos's reply (from I always think) but yes I can see what you mean and it is a very honest open opinion you have stated thereand it is such a shame that people abuse friendship as it is one of the best things that can happen to a human being to have a true friend I don't make friends easily
but I have 2 great friends who I would trust with my life and I thank them so much for their friendship....

Suey, the only way I know how to use only part of a post in a quote reply is to copy the whole post then use your backspace key to erase the unwanted part. There may be an easier way, but this works for me.

I've have never used multi quote because I don't know how! I usually do separate posts!

We need an idiots guide on using the features on the site (for me at least).
