Their latest crazy order is to contact their 160,000 members, doctors in hospitals and general practitioners, informing them that mothers-to-be are no longer to be referred to as "Mothers" but in future to be referred to as "pregnant people"
It doesn't matter what new names people invent, many people will stick to the tried and tested names.

I was never called 'a mother to be' when in hospital anyway, I was an 'elderly primigravida' incorrectly I think as I was only in my 20s. I didn't like that name at all it made me sound like an ageing drama queen almost ready to be buried .
