A worry.

I am very close with my neighbours below me.
Their dog has been barking like mad for the past hour, no answer at their door, no answer to the landline, no answer to either of their mobiles?????
What should I do???
They are older than us.

Re: A worry.

Sounds like they are out Sweetie Pie and something has upset the dog.

You could go and check around the house to make sure all is well I guess.

I have checked around the house.
I will keep trying to phone their mobiles.
I worry more as the lady has MH problems.
She has been a bit down of late.

Firstly, does he usually bark when he's left alone?

Are there any lights on anywhere?

Have you tried looking through the letter box to see if you can see anything amiss.

Look to see if you can smell gas or smoke?

Have they any family you can ring?

Don't suppose you have a spare key, do you?

Re: A worry.

Phone the police, they won't be annoyed if it's not an emergency. 101 not 999 though.

Yes, if none of my other suggestions provide answers, I agree with Ray.

Yes, lights are on.

Yes, I shouted through the letterbox, no answer.

Sorry, no the female dog does not usually bark for over an hour.

I have no numbers for their family.

I will keep trying to get an answer.

No smoke or gas smell.

Re: A worry.

How old are they Sweetie?

Would an elderly couple still be out at this hour?

Maybe time to ring the cops, especially if the dog is still distressed and calling for help.
