I have noticed the video clip in the OP link is slightly shorter than the one I originally viewed……Missing the start showing the lad in white with his head pressed into a smaller lads face, who he had held against a van, while shouting threats of violence he was/wanted to do to him…. Swinging an arm and swearing at at the girl trying to pull him away.

You can see in the OP video the smaller lad in black, and hear and see the girls arm. Why were these couple of seconds at the start of the video clip are missing, I don’t know.

I assumed all film clips would have been the same

As a rule I oppose violence, but my opinion of this incident differs to yours.

I wouldn’t consider the recipient of the headbutt, as a victim.

And in defence of the accused, I would suggest the justification of his actions were, provocation by Harassment .

There are many forms of harassment, but what see here, is Intentional Harassment.

We can clearly hear/see the lad in white saying “ I will F you up “ whilst putting himself into the accused face.

And Lets not go into Pandemic social distancing, where such actions could also be deemed a criminal act.

As I say its my opinion of what I see, and not designed to inflame or rubbish a different opinion.

He should sue. I certainly would. I would also press charges.

Well the Police were involved, Film footage of the incident too.
All involved are known.

Will be interesting to see what the CPS interpretation is of this incident.

My opinion is, no action will be taken against the accused.

I agree. Not quite so flash after that was he. It's the best way to shut a bully up, it takes them by surprise and they can't work out what to do next.

It wouldn't bother me at all. What's the alternative? To receive a head butt rather than give one. No thanks.

Nothing outrageous about it. If you threaten violence, expect to get a smack. It might stop him bullying someone else.

Threatening violence is an offence in itself but does not justify a physical attack.

No I agree it doesn’t.....but we can all retaliate in a split second..then end up regretting it.

Self control isn’t easy to master....I certainly haven’t mastered it.
