No bar here either although I too have a fridge for drinks in the garage ...and I have a very good bar tender (hubby)

A bar is only necessary in the sociable stage of life, totally superfluous for the Lone Drinker.

We have friends who have a bar. It was put there when they (and we) were young and sociable. It's not a 60s style bar but one he built himself in a more traditional style.

He's a whisky connoisseur and I had a good sampling session or two in my younger days sitting at that bar.

OMG - I used to think they were the bee's knee's.
In the 1960's my neighbour built his own bar & I wanted one like it - Tony didn't.

Of course you get more sophisticated as you get older & now I realise how naf it was.

The only bar I have is a X pole dance bar....it’s in my loft....brings back memories of my young silly days.....kept me fit though.

Ex husband liked it...the things one did...
