I've now put the battery on charge and will check it on Friday morning to see if it has taken. I never take the battery off to charge it Percy, I just disconnect the cables and charge it in situ with the charger tucked under the bonnet.

I must have it wrong then, I was always taught to disconnect the battery before charging otherwise there is chance of frying some of the car electronics.
Ooops. I've done it before without problems but I'll let you know on Friday.

Good afternoon, All, far too hot here, all fans going like mad & doors & windows open.Unfortunately that means every fly in the area has access to the inside of my home & the stupid things never know where out is either.
Bees & wasps don't have that problem they always know out. Butterflies can be stupid too, but we don't seem to have any around at present.
I always try to get any outside again, except those little moths I kill those, they eat my bears.
