Good morning all, another hot one forecast then thunderstorms this evening they say, I must admit it is just a little too warm for me these days...

Tesco again first thing and I have to mow my Mum's lawns at some point, but nothing else on my agenda today other than staying in the cool (if I can find any).....

Going to be hot here as well - but I cannot do my usual thing and hibernate as some friends are delivering shopping for me and I do not know what time they will come. I'll just have to grin and bear it - and have a quiet day!

A rare good morning from me.
No walking this morning thunder n darkness all around rain lashing on the windows.
Been waiting for this but the temperature is still high so I guess once this is over I can get on with my gardening.

I couldn't sleep for the muggy night so took some extra Tramadol but it didn't do any good. Oh well there is a storm here now so that will clear the air hopefully. I might then catch up on some sleep?

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

Overcast and looking like rain here, that will cool things off. Although the forecast is for the afternoon to be hot with a chance of thundery showers. Maximum temperature 32ºC.

Keeping cool (and perhaps dry) and not doing very much at all will be the order for the day.

I have to wait in for an important phone call today, so if I can summon up the energy it will be housework first.

I had a terrible night because of the over powering heat, so if I suddenly nod off whilst writing this . . .

Lovely day, down here in Berkshire.

Expecting lots of family round, subject to social distancing, as we celebrate my 21st Birthday for the 4th time around.

Presumably all sitting out in the garden, with a glass of something.
