Have you ever been to Barcelona?

I went there with my wife for a romantic weekend. .....the first night went for a meal in the old part of the city. .......I sat there staring at the ceilings all night.......in awe of the workmanship.......some of the oldest and finest vaulted brickwork ive ever seen.

I'm sure Tpin & Barry will tell you more about it but it's building a support out of wood to the correct shape so that the bricks can be laid on top of it giving support until the last brick goes in.

Its framework formed(usually timber)to a requured shape......it supports the brick/blockwork until the mortar has set sufficiently enough and then it's removed.

Its also used for concrete applications.
