Lol! I love reading these threads - more interesting than the programmes by the sound of it. Last time I saw this one it was still called 'Emmerdale Farm', the pub was run by Amos, there was a tall, skinny gamekeeper named Seth - I think - and it was actually about farming!

Exactly Silver.
It lost all sense of reality when Annie Sugden left.
It is the same as Coronation Street, the sort of place I could relate to as a child.
The sort of place Azure writes about when she was a child.
I can relate to all her stories, that was life.
Now it is just weird.

Have not watched it for years..which is a shame.
