Sending a message to Murdoch

I am delighted to see the number of major companies and organisations who are withholding their advertising from The News Of The World. I hope the storm which is now descending on News International will send a message to Murdoch that freedom of speech is one thing but there are some things the public will not tolerate.

As the days pass and more and more dirt is emerging from the 'can of worms', one wonders where all this will end...

With any luck, the Government refusing to allow him to take over BSkyB.

Signed .....

I think there are many including Cameron, his friend Rebekah Brooks and the police who wish this matter would go away but it appears many people are saying enough is enough and won't allow another cover up . Hopefully the truth will come out this time.

Re: Sending a message to Murdoch

According to latest news apparently some Police officers have been passing information to Murdoch employees in return for substantial sums of money. That is tantamount to corruption and that too requires a full investigation. Any Police Officer found to have received such money, irrespective of his/her rank should be immediately sacked!!!

Where's this story come from, Murdoch's lot? Pan & kettle stuff? Nevertheless, if it is true, I agree with you.

Re: Sending a message to Murdoch

The News of The World is not a newspaper, its just a sleazy rag that revels in any sex scandal, or tittle tattle about celebs, and their so called indiscretions. I even remember growing up how it was regarded then as a muck raking paper. Agree about Murdoch, why should he have any more power than he already has? At least he's going to pay a helluva lot of dough for Sky, as their share price is zooming upwards all the time.
