Forsythia

Just noticed this show of Forsythia in the garden with the Sun shining on it this afternoon..

Forsythia is a bit like Magnolia. Magnificent during the short flowering time and best to grab a photo quick before the petals start dropping.

Gorgeous Mart. Someone once told me many years ago about putting some cuttings in a vase around December and they will come into flower. Don't know if that's true or not.

Cuttings can take root in a vase. of water.

My forsythia is absolutely stunning this year . As too are the camellias, blossom , and azaleas. The colours seem to be more vibrant too.
Such a shame they come and go so quickly, and so early that we don't sit out to enjoy them.
