Spam's quite tasty, it's cheap and good on a sandwich, spam-in-a-can as they say, the delicatessen sells it loose, it's better that the canned stuff.

All the recipes I've posted are from a handbook belonging to my sister-in-law, she used to be a head cook in the schools.

Chocolate crunch = Shooters?

Our headmistress used to sit at a different lunch/dinner (why do we 'dine' in the evenings now but when we ate around mid-day at school it was def. school dinner?) table each day. She sat with us one day when we had shooters and pink custard. The shoters must have been harder than usual. Somebody (not me) finally got their spoon through the concrete-hard delight, only to see it, plus a generous dollop of pink custard sail elegantly into Miss H****'s ample lap
Still makes me to think about it
