You would have no trouble at all if you had ID cards and only give benifits to people who have put in to the system

We were never all going to be able to get behind a Tory government even the tories seem incapable of doing it so it should have been a cross party brexit group created for just this purpose.
Hi

A good idea, but we are stuck in a cycle of both main Parties just making political points instead of just working together for what is best for the UK.

We are getting on for a year since we invoked Article 50.

The Cabinet has not decided on what kind of Trade Deal we want from the EU.

They are not even going to discuss it until next week.

I find this appalling.

If it had been down to Tony Benn we would never have joined in the first place.

No not all of them but lets take the Big Issue sellers what exactly to they add to our society or economy -they are basically beggars- nothing yet they take everything.
They are not fools and our attractive benefits system suits them to a tee.

Re: The next round of negotiations.

What about British born big issue sellers?

One thing that the homeless contribute to society is a reminder that none of us are safe from this spectre. If you talk to some of these people you will often find they are educated and were successful. Either that or they are very young and have had a tragic start.

When I was 18 i once spent an hour talking to a homeless lady while i waited for a bus. She had been a successful media executive. But the job entailed lots of corporate events where a great deal of alcohol was consumed. She started drinking more and more. Her marriage ended. She lost her home. I sometimes wonder what happened to her.

I couldn't give a flying fig about the cost ... And for once you are right!! Successive Gov't's have completely failed the UK electorate!

That is why the Brexit vote is apolitical, fundamental and beyond petty party politics.

FYI I suspect that not a single Leave voter has moved across to the Remain camp but plenty have moved the other way.....You need to get a reality check !

You should care about the cost because we will be unable to afford both brexit and immigration controls. Departments cannot keep on top of all the detail at the current level of investment. Corbyn's labour will get in on the back of any economic fallout.

Could you please illustrate why you think we can't 'afford' both Brexit and immigration controls!!

You just make up unsubstantiated nonsense and dispense it as though it is fact.....It's your uneducated opinion, Annie.

As the sixth largest economy in the WORLD with a GDP in 2017 of £490+billion and GROWING I contend that we can easily afford immigration controls and brexit.

As for Corbyn.....If he gets elected that will be the will of the people and it will be his time. He supports Brexit, as all true Socialists should, so I don't fear a Corbyn Govt from a Brexit standpoint.
