landing target in sight



Not very good photo but who cares, I don't. Just an idea to try and capture a bee in flight, Had to give it a go to see the result

Nothing wrong with that, RS, the bee looks in focus & the flower it's targeting as a landing.

Thank you.Thought it might make a different type photo for a change

sometimes have to wait for the wind to die down or catch the plant as the flower head changes direction. So not as easy as I would wish

Yes tried the same thing myself- I reckon it will take loads of exposures and settings to get just the right photo, Not quite happy with mine yet RS. Difficult to get the focus right as someone will comment.

Inspired by this I spent half an hour chasing camera shy bees in my garden .
Haven’t looked at the snaps yet but I think they are probably rubbish .

I was suprised that one can get so close to them without any problem as long as you leave them alone
