Wasps

Has anyone tried one of these in the garden, and if so, are they any good please?

It's called the 'Waspinator.'

Ooooh, not heard of those Mups so sorry can't be of any help.

It has a 5 star review who reckons it works. Give it a go it's cheap enough innit?

Yes, I suppose you're right Pesta. Perhaps I should give it a go.
I really, really don't like wasps. I can't bear one in the room with me even, and the dogs snap at them and I'm frightened of them getting stung too.
Trouble is, I like my windows and kitchen door open all summer when it's a nice day, so maybe this thing would keep the wasps away.

I'll have another read about it.

I have never heard of a waspinator before.

I have removed several wasps nests over the years and received many stings. It is a good job I am not allergic to them.

It looks like it's a bag made of grey interfacing. That may be cheaper to buy and make.
I never trust those reviews, the good ones could be from employees.

Re: Wasps

I have tried something similar in fact it’s hung up in my garage, forgotten until I saw this thread, I tried hanging it up above my eaves, as we get wasps nests every year ( we have one now) but they still built a nest regardless, we have bought some citronella candles for when we’re eating outside, but not sure if these work either, will get my lookalike wasps nest and hang it up next time we eat outside..

I have only seen a few so far too, Apricot.

I always say they come out when the Plums are ready so they should be around by now.

I hate the damn things, and dread them arriving to be honest.
