Warm one today, although cloudy at the moment.We don't want him to go into a placement Jac, we want him home. We feel the CCG will cancel the care package if he goes into a placement. We are having a major battle with our MP involved etc. Can't say too much because of action that may be taken. Because of his complexity he would be in with patients in a vegative state. He is locked in but doesn't want to be kept alive. He wants to live surrounded by family, pets, and his own belongings where he can still play a useful part. The placements are few and far between and would be 100 mile round journey, and difficult for children, friends and family to visit.
Off to find something cooler to wear, the motorway will be at a standstill with people going to the beaches and the New Forest.
