I have to admit, . . . when doing a job round the house I sometimes need a tool from the garage, after opening up the door I stand there like a clown wondering what I was looking for.

It's not memory loss, more like preoccupation, . . I think.

I find that if I go back to where I was, I can usually remember then why I was going to where I went .......

I've been making shopping lists for years now - I am firmly of the opinion it has more to do with good planning than helping the memory (that's my excuse anyway!)
